Perhaps the most aggressive pushback to date on the Obama campaign's attacks on Mitt Romney's record at Bain Capital, the site alleges money -- mostly from stimulus dollars -- flowed to countries including Russia, Australia, China, India and Mexico.
Among other charges, it alleges that a $2.4 billion stimulus program to support electric vehicles sent nearly half its money to foreign firms, including two South Korean companies that used their awards to hire foreign nationals in Michigan. It also points to $8.5 billion in grants for wind farms, saying that half that money created thousands of jobs overseas while the wind energy industry in the U.S. lost 10,000 jobs.
The RNC said in a press release that "the Obama campaign has launched provably false attacks about outsourcing, but President Obama turns out to be the real outsourcer-in-chief."
