An Opportunity for McCain-Palin

advertisement

If there's still room under the bus where Barack Obama throws his discards - his white granny, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, William Ayres, Bernadine Dohrn and even Hillary Clinton - that's the right place for Nancy Pelosi.

What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Media goes after the stories that bring biggest audiences.- (just business for them) equals biggest revenues for them.
Since there is nothing to be said about Biden, she has the stage.

Obama didn't even know where Iraq was 18 months ago, and probably still doesn't know how many sides are on the Pentagon. And Biden can't figure out who was president during the depression and when TV was invented. So I take just about any whine from the left that Palin isn't ready with alot of salt. Give her until January to get up to speed on the civility of Washington, and she'll be just fine.

LMAO. Too funny. But thsi is funnier, yet scary:

'common knowledge and has been reported in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that's well known. And it's unfortunate.'

The "common knowledge" McCain cites is simply false. Far from working together, Iran and al Qaeda represent opposing sides in the Iraq civil war. Al Qaeda is a Sunni Muslim extremist group, while Iran is ruled by Shiites, where they make up 90 percent of the population.

McCain, the so-called foreign policy expert, is confusing reports that Iran was aiding Shiite insurgents in Iraq — one of the groups that virulently opposes al Qaeda. Even some aspects of those reports have been disputed.

        Grasping at straws...

The Pelosi partisanship speech was laughed off except for those begging for a Talking Point and reflected negatively on Boehner and the talking point form VA...

Much more damaging to McCain was claiming credit for the bailout and metaphorically spiking the ball at the 10 yard line.

. . . the dowager queen of the San Francisco Democrats (where there are many queens), killed it with a particularly mean-spirited attack on the Republicans whom the Democrats were counting on to join them for just this one bipartisan vote.

I was amazed at her stupidity.

I'm amazed that the Republican's cried their feelings got hurt and so they didn't vote for it.

I agree that grandmother isn't fit to lead. Aren't you embarrassed your party made that leadership blunder? Anyway, the Republicans just may have spanked the speaker and perhaps now we'll see a plan that favors Americans and not Pelosi's cronies.

Actually, I'm amazed that the republicans have no leader. Not Mr McCain, not the President, not even the Boner himself could deliver the votes they wanted for A REPUBLICAN PROPOSED BAILOUT! Mr Bush called every one of the republican reps in his home state of Texas, and only 4 out of 19 voted with him.

If this is the necessity that the President claims it is, and none of his party's reps are willing to vote for it, doesn't that just show that they'd rather put partisanship ahead of the good of the country? Didn't Mr McCain drop everything and got to Washington so he could use his infinite wisdom to convince the republicans to vote for this bill? What about the Boner? Has he no ability to drum up support for his President and Presidential nominee in his party?

Make all the excuses you want, run and cry to your mama that the old lady was mean. It doesn't change the fact that the republicans refused to support a plan that was put forward by a republican president.

So you don't think this is one of those Rove deals that ultimately makes fools once again of the Democrats? No? I think the eventual deal will favor Americans. You have to agree Pelosi can't handle her House party. I'm betting they start swimming from her sinking ship.

This was written by McCain in his Economy plan (over a Year ago)

No taxpayer money should bail out real estate speculators or financial market participants who failed
to perform due diligence in assessing credit risks. Any assistance for borrowers should be focused
solely on homeowners and any government assistance to the banking system should be based solely
            on preventing systemic risk.

Bob Barr is not going to win. He did not do that great for Georgia and wanted to be treated "different" at the airport. He reminds me of Wax man.
